By the grace of God, Greater Faith Christian Church was founded in June 2000 by Apostle Felton C Williams Sr and Prophetess Dionne L Williams with the blessings of their spiritual parents, Apostle Tony Westley and Prophetess Ina Westley. Greater Faith Christian Church started ministry with 8 congregants and grew well over 250 congregants from 2000 to 2005. After Hurricane Katrina devastated the entire Greater New Orleans area in 2005, many of Greater Faith Chrisitan Church congregant were impacted and displaced to location across the United States. Greater Faith Christian Church experienced a decline in membership as many of its displaced congregants permanently relocated to other states. After nearly 3 years, in 2008 Greater Faith Christian Church resumed church service and have been moving forward. In January 2017, God prophetically led Apostle Williams to rename Greater Faith Christian Church to Greater Impact Christian Church. The name change of Greater Faith Christian Church is prophetic to the mission and vision of what we know now as Greater Impact Christian Church.
